About North
Devon Branch The North Devon Branch is one of the eleven branches of the Devon Beekeepers Association (DBKA) which has over 650 members. |

DBKA is one of the largest county associations and claims to be the oldest in the world. It was created in 1797 as the Western Apiary Society. In North Devon Branch, we have some 130 members, mostly located around the Bideford and Barnstaple area, but with a fair number spread around the rest of North Devon. |

The main social activities of the Branch centre around :-

Our own Apiary near Bishops Tawton, with working meets held on every Tuesday and Open days on various Sundays from April through to October. Check the Events Calendar for dates. More information on the Apiary here. |

Social outings including skittle nights, visits to other apiaries and other beekeeping events |

Managing stands and exhibitions at County and local shows, and entering beekeeping competitions. |
